Neapco Mexico Earns El Distintivo ESR®, Recognized as a Socially Responsible Company

We are thrilled to share that Neapco’s Saltillo, Mexico plant has been recognized as a socially responsible company, earning the “El Distintivo Empresa Socialmente Responsable®” honor from El Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía, A.C., Cemefi (The Mexican Center for Philanthropy, A.C., Cemefi).

Neapco Mexico was recognized among other Mexican and Latin American companies for voluntarily integrating socio-environmental practices into their business operations. In order to obtain this distinction, companies must undergo a systemic process that measures and compares their practices in environmental, social and governance (ESG) fields.

The Neapco team in Saltillo has always been engaged with the local community and is extremely deserving of this honor. In 2022, the plant implemented several sustainability programs to save water and energy as well as reduce waste. Additionally, Neapco Mexico’s Comite de Apoyo a la Comunidad (Community Support Committee) spearheaded countless community engagement initiatives supporting various non-governmental organizations, schools and community events.

This achievement reflects Neapco’s values and commitment to supporting and leaving a positive impact in the communities in which we operate. Congratulations to the Saltillo team—your hard work does not go unnoticed.
