Neapco is currently seeking to fill the full-time position of Manager, Global Operations Finance, reporting to the Director, Global Operations Finance. As a key member of Neapco’s corporate finance team, this highly visible individual will work with team members at all levels of the organization (senior management, Manager of Program Audit and Analysis, business controllers, and other corporate staff) to develop and report financial and business intelligence for optimal business decision making. This position is based out of our Farmington Hills, Michigan Global Headquarters and Technical Center. Compensation dependent upon qualifications.

Job Description:

As a key member of Neapco’s corporate finance team, this highly visible role will support the Manager of Program Audit and Analysis. This individual will work with people at all levels of the organization (senior management, business controllers, Program Management Sales, Purchasing and other corporate staff) to develop and report financial model results for optimal future business decision making.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Support Manger of Program Audit and Analysis to
    • review and validate projected financial profitability and returns as well as short term and long-term risks and opportunities for all new programs (Prince model). Make investment recommendations to management to strategically prioritize projects, identify cost savings, and improve expected financial returns. Test outcomes using alternate assumption sets (sensitivity or what-if analysis).
    • establish and publish annual cost rates used in the Prince model for all business units. These rates should align with annual budget / 5-year financial plan.
    • analyze and audit actual program performance against the projected performance for key programs (established metrics like EBITDA%, NPV, IRR, etc.). Investigate any significant changes and variances for process improvements.
    • Leverage and improve tools developed to provide actionable insights.
    • Support the sales staff in early business case development and make transparent areas of risk for management’s consideration.

Preferred Skills:


  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Prior experience in operations and program profitability analysis
  • Automotive industry experience preferred
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Initiatives, accountability, teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment
  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel



  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
